ELIGIBILITY: You must be a legal resident of Houston, Texas who lives within 100 miles of Houston City Hall (as determined by Google Maps), and is twenty-one (21) years of age or older. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, temporary employees, independent contractors and interns of Mac Haik Chevrolet, KHOU 11 (?Prize Provider?), Belo Corp., and each of their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, other Sweepstakes sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies (hereinafter ?Sweepstakes Providers?) and the immediate family members of each, and any persons living with, any such employees are not eligible to enter or to win. The term ?immediate family members? includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Winners of previous KHOU 11 contest or sweepstakes are not eligible to win another KHOU 11 contest or sweepstakes within a 90-day period.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period, visit the KHOU 11 FACEBOOK PAGE located at www.facebook.com/KHOU11 click on the "Like" Tab to become a fan of KHOU 11?s Facebook page. Then, click on the Sweepstakes Tab to complete the entry form, which includes your name, address, telephone number, email address, and date of birth. If you are already a fan of KHOU 11, visit the KHOU 11 Facebook page, click on the Sweepstakes Tab and complete the entry form.
ONE ENTRY PER PERSON, PER DAY, FOR THE DURATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES
DEADLINES AND KEY DATES: Entry period begins at 3 p.m. CST on Friday, January 11, 2013 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CST each day (the ?Daily Entry Deadline?) on Friday, February 8, 2013 (the ?Sweepstakes Period?). Weekly winners and the Grand Prize Winner will be selected as follows:
- Winner for secondary prize #1 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Jan 17, 2013; ?
- Winner for secondary prize #2 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Jan 24, 2013;
- Winner for secondary prize #3 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Jan 31, 2013;
- Winner for secondary prize #4 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Feb 7, 2013;
- Winner for GRAND PRIZE will be selected/notified on or about Monday, Feb 11, 2013.
The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the Sweepstakes will be when the entry is received by the third-party application service provider?s server. Participants entering close to the posted deadline do so with this information in mind.
No responsibility is assumed by KHOU 11, Belo Corp., their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, or other Sweepstakes providers for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. ?Authorized account holder? is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of Sweepstakes Providers and will not be returned to the Participant.
Except as provided above, daily multiple entries by the same person, including those made electronically by one person using one or more e-mail accounts, will result in disqualification. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified with a natural person by appropriate independent means, including, without limitation, reverse domain name search. Potential winner may be requested to provide Sweepstakes Providers with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depends on the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZES: There is one (1) grand prize and four (4) secondary prizes. They are as follows:
- Grand Prize: 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe 2WD LS; ARV: $45,000 ?
- Secondary Prize #1: Apple iPad 3 16G; ARV: $599
- Secondary Prize #2: 40-inch Flat Screen TV: ARV: $699
- Secondary Prize #3: Kindle Fire HD 7" 16G; ARV: $250
- Secondary Prize #4: Apple iPad Mini 16G, Wi-Fi; ARV: $525
GRAND PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/REQUIREMENTS: The Grand Prize Winner must provide proof of insurance and have a valid driver?s license to take delivery of the prize and must take delivery at MAC HAIK CHEVROLET within two (2) weeks of being named the Winner. Travel expenses are not included.
KHOU?11 will be responsible for the sales tax and registration fee associated with the receipt of the Grand Prize. All other expenses are the winner's responsibility, who will receive an IRS?Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of the Grand Prize.?
The Grand Prize Winner will be responsible for insuring and registering the vehicle, in addition to license fees, freight, dealer prep, emissions inspection, additional equipment, gasoline, maintenance and all other fees and expenses associated with the receipt and use of the vehicle. The interior and exterior colors of and specific package details of the vehicle to be determined by the Prize Provider. Any vehicle options and/or upgrades above the package chosen by the Prize Provider will be the Grand Prize Winner?s responsibility. All additional vehicle options will be the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. ?
The Grand Prize Winner agrees that the Sweepstakes Providers have neither made or are responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the vehicle, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness, except the vehicle does include the standard vehicle limited warranty as set forth in the vehicle?s owners guide.
SECONDARY?PRIZES: All secondary prizes will be picked up at KHOU-TV in Houston, Texas.?
ALL PRIZE REQUIREMENTS: By participating in the Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, participants and winners will be deemed to have agreed to these Rules. Travel is not included unless specifically stated. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local income and any other taxes, fees and surcharges. The Prize Provider will issue an IRS Form 1099 for tax purposes to the Winner of any prize with a value of $600 or more. Sweepstakes Providers reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
WINNER SELECTION: All prize drawings will be held at KHOU 11, 1945 Allen Parkway, Houston, Texas 77019. Weekly Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the Daily Entry Deadline immediately preceding the weekly drawing as set forth below:
- Winner for secondary prize #1 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Jan 17, 2013; ?
- Winner for secondary prize #2 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Jan 24, 2013;
- Winner for secondary prize #3 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Jan 31, 2013;
- Winner for secondary prize #4 will be selected/notified on or about Thursday, Feb 7, 2013;
- Winner for GRAND PRIZE will be selected/notified on or about Monday, Feb 11, 2013.
The Sweepstakes Providers will determine the GRAND PRIZE winner by a random drawing from all entries received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period. In addition to meeting the age and residency requirements, each winner?s eligibility will be determined by entering his/her address into Google Maps. The winner?s address must be within the stated mileage requirement as determined by at least one of the Google Map results. The decisions of the Sweepstakes Providers shall be final. The Winner will be notified by email on or near date specified. Winners may be announced on KHOU 11 and KHOU.com the day after they're drawn. If the winner is unreachable after forty-eight (48) hours from the time of notification (as determined by the date/time stamp on the email notification sent to the winner), an alternate winner will be selected from the remaining qualified entries.? In order to be named a winner, potential winners may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/Release of liability upon accepting a prize. Noncompliance will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected.
USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION: Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any of Prize Provider?s or Sweepstakes Providers? respective privacy policies, Participants grant to Prize Provider and Sweepstakes Providers, and Prize Provider and Sweepstakes Providers reserve, the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information provided by Participants in connection with the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. By entering, participants release and hold harmless Prize Provider, Sweepstakes Providers, Facebook, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize won. Restrictions, conditions and limitations apply.
CONDUCT: By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by the Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted at http://www.khou.com/community throughout the Sweepstakes. Participants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the Sweepstakes Providers, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sweepstakes Providers reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web site; or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules. You agree that in your participation in the Sweepstakes you will not use obscene, libelous or slanderous language, or language that infringes upon a third party?s trademark, trade name or other intellectual property right or right of privacy. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KHOU 11, Belo Corp., and officers, consultants, agents, and employees against and from all claims, damages liabilities, costs and expenses asserted by third parties alleging that the Sweepstakes includes obscenity, libel, slander, or infringes upon the third party?s intellectual property or privacy rights, as a direct result of your actions in connection with the Sweepstakes. You further agree to not knowingly damage or cause interruption of the Sweepstakes or to prevent others? participation in the Sweepstakes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE FACEBOOK, A BELO WEB SITE OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SWEEPSTAKES PROVIDERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Winner assumes liability for losses or injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Sweepstakes, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any prize. Sweepstakes Providers are not responsible: (i) for any lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries; or (ii) for any incorrect or inaccurate information, in the Sweepstakes Rules or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes.
Sweepstakes Providers assume no responsibility for an error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of authorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sweepstakes Providers are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to participants or to any other person?s computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including legal restrictions, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sweepstakes Providers that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Providers reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
RULES / WINNERS LIST: Official Rules and the name of the winners may be obtained by sending a self addressed, stamped #10 envelope to: KHOU11, c/o Christine Di Stadio, 1945 Allen Parkway, Houston, Texas 77019. Indicate ?Tahoe Facebook Sweepstakes" on the outside of the envelope as applicable. Limit one (1) request per envelope. The request must include the name of the Sweepstakes.
