Jude Hand (2) | Sunday February 17, 2013, 10:26 am Remember the penguin film not long ago that got people out in droves? That alone should cause folks to think about what ice loss is doing to the Arctic. And, then, there's always dear Shell. Tx. for keeping it current. Debra Van Way (11) | Sunday February 17, 2013, 1:01 pm And those that have kept their heads firmly buried in the sand will still swear it is all lies. I suspect the beaches will be moving inland big time before it is all over. With any luck, maybe the big oil muckymucks will drown in their beach front homes. Robert O. (6) | Sunday February 17, 2013, 1:05 pm Let me start by saying, no, i did not read this whole long-winded report, but from what i read, it is very narrowly focused on potential earnings increase with naturalization. The problem is that 11 million illegals made legal has a much greater impact on a society than how much more money they can make, (and, yes, i understand that this increase means more money exchanging hands and more taxes collected, etc.). But, 1st, they have to find jobs! We have our own college grads living at home because there are No jobs! 2nd, this additional 11 million people will tax an already fragile health care system and an education system already on life-support! The answer is to spend our foreign funds on actually making things better for those people in their own countries, instead of spending it on what's good for 'corporate amerika', (who by the way, happens to be the real beneficiary of 'naturalization', because for the most part it provides a cheap supply of labor, especially agricultural, to the labor market, which in turn, drives wages down across the board, excepting the crooked CEOs etc.) Your report has been submitted to Customer Service. Lois Jordan (33) | Sunday February 17, 2013, 2:27 pm Noted. Thanks, Cher. So, Congress is on "recess." That means we can all visit our Congress critters this week and ask them to please concentrate on the environmental impacts of climate change. We all have specific issues and various points and requests to make, and should direct them towards those who manage where our tax money's spent. Your report has been submitted to Customer Service.
